Cassiopée : Unreal Project


A tree

What you call your world is a gigantic and labyrinthian tree, generating its own gravity. But this tree is sick, and your duty is to cure it.

Explore its interconnected and maze-like growths, from dark roots to bright canopies, using the peculiar gravity to your advantage.
Fight against the maddened dwellers of the plant, and eventually free them from their strange frenzy.
Learn new combat tricks and movement abilities from them, and further explore your chlorophyllous planet.


This game is a school project I worked on with 4 other students, using Unreal Engine 4. The only instructions we had were to create a game using UE4, based on the tree picture displayed on the left. My main duties on this project were 3D modeling, developing the gravity system, and refining the camera system, along with creating playtesting demos and forms to get feedback.
