Who needs portals when you can bend physics itself to your will ?
FREZ is a platforming and puzzle game where the main gameplay mechanic is the protagonist's ability to slow time and thereafter change the direction of the velocity of all surrounding objects, and even of their very own. Thanks to this extraordinary power and their loyal hammer, the player will have to solve puzzles through a set of sometimes peculiarly built levels.
FREZ was a school project I worked on along with 3 other students. Since it was a programming project, we decided not to use Unity or any other game engine, but instead decided to use the Monogame Framework, with which I already had experience, although only in 2D development. Because I was the most experienced with the framework, I became project lead, and helped the others learn Monogame, while also learning how to use it in 3D games.
